WestQuay join Marwell’s Zany Zebras sculpture project23rd March 2015
Marwell Wildlife is excited to announce that WestQuay have joined the herd in sponsoring a sculpture for Marwell’s Zany Zebras.
WestQuay is the latest business to sign up to the public art extravaganza Marwell’s Zany Zebras which will be hitting the streets of the city next summer. The shopping centre is a returning sponsor, having previously joined Go! Rhinos in 2013 sponsoring ‘Ringo’.
Alex Thomas, Marketing Manager of WestQuay said:” We are so pleased to be working on another exciting partnership with Marwell Wildlife and their Zany Zebras! Our shoppers certainly enjoyed engaging with Go! Rhinos back in 2013 and we look forward to welcoming our zebra and raising funds to conserve endangered zebras and other wildlife.”
Southampton will become the home to a herd of colourful zebra sculptures that will pop up across the city as part of a public art event that promises to create an unforgettable trail for families to enjoy.
Kirstie Mathieson, Project Manager for Marwell’s Zany Zebras said: “We are delighted to be working with WestQuay again. Projects of this nature are a fantastic way of putting a city on the map and highlighting what they to offer as a destination. Southampton has a fantastic retail offer and it is great that through Marwell’s Zany Zebras we can highlight and celebrate our great retail experience.”
