Company function: WRTI is a club based in Southampton for inventors providing help, encouragement and advice in all aspects of inventing.
The club operates largely by providing inventors with mutual support and has an excellent track record.
Who will benefit what has it achieved? Left to their own devices, many inventors fail to commercialise their inventions. With support from WRTI, the success rate is much improved.
Many Members inventions have been brought to market or are now in development.
Development: WRTI was formed in 2000 and since then has already helped hundreds of inventors.
How it was supported: WRTI is sponsored by various government agencies and companies in the innovation sector.
Collaboration: WRTI has a close collaboration with Southampton Solent University.
Many of our members have received grants and also won awards at various innovation exhibitions.
