📰 Celebrate Southampton's historic street with Oxford Street Loves week

Oxford Street Southampton is one of the city’s most well known streets. With its rich history, famous links to the Titanic and its independent bars and restaurants, the street has a unique offering you won’t find anywhere else in Southampton.

This week, from the 15th - 22nd July Oxford Street will be celebrating all that is loved about the street. From its diverse restaurants and bars, delicious menu using locally sourced produce, events and fascinating heritage that makes the street so unique, and not forgetting the staff and visitors who bring the street to life.

Daily videos are being uploaded to the Oxford Street Southampton Facebook page celebrating the street, employees, history, live music and more!

On Thursday 20th July enjoy a truly special event as the Southampton Tourist Guides Association take you on a journey along the Titanic Trail. See where the crew of the Titanic lived and drank, stop at the White Star Office and reflect on the families, who waited days for news. Start and finish your walk at The Docks Coffee House where you can enjoy a Cream Tea included in the £12.00 per person tour cost.

Jo Andrews MD of The Marketing Collective who manages the marketing for the Oxford Street Traders Association says; “With so many new developments launching across Southampton we wanted to remind visitors and residents why Oxford Street should be on any itinerary for discovering the city. It is the home of many established independent venues with outstanding reputations and we felt it was all worth celebrating. Oxford Street Southampton is FOR so many things and we want to help raise the profile of the independent dining and lifestyle experience of the street.”
