Southampton offers a variety of opportunities to learn for both children and adults. Our education services for children are continually improving, with additional schools being rated as outstanding by Ofsted.

 

Learning opportunities don’t just stop when you leave school. You can start an apprenticeship and learn skills while you earn. Many learning providers in the city offer courses to adults and the wider community, so if you want to learn new skills to help you get a job, or you want to explore and develop your creative side, or just keep fit and healthy, then there is likely something available for you.

 

Southampton has two Universities offering a range of higher Education courses. With a student population of over 30,000 the Universities offer courses in a broad range of disciplines.
