The Southampton Christmas Festival takes place on Above Bar pedestrian precinct and Bargate Street from Friday 16 November - Sunday 23 December 2018.
It features a Christmas market operated by internationally renowned WELA Märkte. This will consist of individually designed alpine themed chalets incorporating traditional German fayre and independent stallholders offering a range of hand-made, authentic traditional gifts.

The Flying Santa Show - Santa and his reindeers fly above the market twice a day.
After each of his performances he will visit the market and give sweets to all children at the huge Advent Calendar. The Bargate monument will be illiuminated in different colours.
