Southampton Venus Awards proves irresistible to the business women of the region!14th December 2015
Numbers of business women applying and being nominated for in the fourth Southampton Venus Awards have exceeded expectations by far.
The Southampton Venus Awards, now in its fourth year, has proved irresistible to the business community of the region with 1042nominations and 215 applicationsreceived in one or more of the 14 categories.
True to the aims of the Awards, Southampton is recognisingwith great enthusiasmthe vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional and national economy.
Peter Cooper Volkswagen Group is the Associate Sponsor for the Southampton Venus Awards for the third year running, and is also sponsoring the category of Influential Woman of the Year which this year has received 183 nominations and applications.Darren Cooper, Managing Director of Peter Cooper Volkswagen Group said,
